The Promises of God: You're Future is Still Really Bright

Sometimes it’s easier to speak life, strength, and blessing over someone. In the midst of praying and ministering to others you may sometimes forget that God has promised you something in your life. You may have not stopped praying, going to church, or singing God’s praises, but instead you find yourself not preparing for the future and worrying. Life situations will take place and you may question where God is. You may think to yourself that all he has promised cannot be for you, not now. And because of the “now” situations you cannot see how the promises will be fulfilled. You may be allowing yourself to believe your future would somehow be altered because you have finally realized how flawed you are or how inadequate you may feel.

"I know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted” Job 42:2 (in context 42:1-5). When Job said these words he realized that God’s purpose is supreme and He always has the best plan and it goes far beyond what we could imagine. Even through suffering failures and heartbreak God has not changed His mind nor forgotten us. It is why He sends men and women to speak into our lives and remind us of what He has promised. God is the best at reminders we have His word and direct access and like I said he sends people right when we think we’re crazy and He cannot possible do “it”. Isaiah 55:11 tells us God’s word will accomplish what He said it would. We can trust God to fulfill every promise in our lives. He uses His word to remind us to hold on and stay focused. We just need to remind ourselves daily what those promises are for our lives. Each one of us has a purpose that will be fulfilled.

Waiting can be the hardest thing to do. During the waiting period we must continue (or start) to immerse ourselves with the things of God; Pray, seek His face, and His presence. We must read the Word, follow scripture, and continue to minister to the Church and the unsaved. For some of us that may also mean leaving places or friends. Sometimes people and places can slow our progress and make us lose sight of God. Our relationships are important and where we spend our time does affect us. Be careful who you share your visions and dreams with and who you take along with you. Surround yourself with Godly people. People are always tied to our destiny.
God is always with His people don’t lose sight of your dreams and visions that God has given you and Hold onto to His promises.
